We started River Runners' Transport and Rental in 1987 with a tank of gas, a love of the outdoors, and a desire to provide river runners with a dependable vehicle shuttle service. Shuttling was our first service and we continue to provide the largest and most reliable service in the region. We recognized the need to rent top quality whitewater equipment to river users coming to the local area. RRT is the only full support whitewater equipment company on US Highway 40 between Salt Lake City and Denver.

In 1992 the Dinosaur National Monument  issued the first ever shuttle permit to River Runners' Transport, Inc. In 1994, the Price District of the Bureau of Land Management followed the Monument's lead and issued RRT a permit to shuttle vehicles, deliver equipment and provide full support trips. The Monument then followed in 1995 with a permit to deliver and pick up rental equipment.
